Message from the Director, ORIC,
"Welcome to the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Makran, Panjgur.
In an era defined by rapid technological advancement and knowledge-driven economies, the role of a university extends far beyond the traditional boundaries of teaching. University of Makran, Panjgur aims to develop and sustain a dynamic research that makes a major contribution to economic prosperity. Promotion of Research is one of the core strategic plan to develop the institutions. Through the program launched by HEC for strengthening research and the process of knowledge creation, the quality and research output emanating from the university have shown tremendous improvements and universities have been acknowledged in the research disciplines in terms of percentage increase in internationally cited research publications. In order to achieve the highest standards of research, the researchers of University pf Makran are highly encouraged, motivated and facilitated to improve the research progress. Yet, this is a beginning and we need not only to sustain and also to improve this trend but also contemplate on questions of relevance and academic impact of the research. In pursuit of this end, University of Makran, Panjgur has started working to organize the research activities of well-established and fully functional ORIC (Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization). The ORICs will provide strategic and operational support to the University research activities/program, and will have a central role in facilitating the University research outcomes.
