Our country faces many unique challenges in Edu productivity and food security. It is the mission of our land based university to find solutions for these challenges. The Dean’s office of this Department as your partner to facilitate in achieving your academic goals and capacity building. Department of Edu provides dives range of academic degrees program with a practical education and students benefit from our faculty members expertise in teaching and research to prepares them for carriers in a growing job market We have clear vision for the future and are prepared to meet the needs of our country. Our university is an outstanding place and a strong foundation to build future success in the major sector of education to support/boost our economy.
Department of Education established in May 2020 aims at providing quality academic training (teaching, research and out-reach) in plant production and plant protection through management practices against ecological and biotic constrains under various agro-climatic conditions.
The Department offers bachelor’s and master degree in four specialized programs of Education including (hons), 2yrs, 2.5yrs, 1.5yrs. The Faculty has also started doctorate degree program in Edu. The bachelor students are also offered compulsory internships at in-house research laboratories of UoM and other well-reputed organizations throughout the country. It attracts a large number of students for admission every year. The passed out graduates are serving in various government institutes of Balochistan.
The Faculty has its own experimental area and access to various experimental forms to conduct problem oriented research at graduate and postgraduate level. The faculty members are also running a number of research projects to solve the Education problems and for uplifting the living standards of the edu community in the province. The Faculty has earned a reputation for academic and research superiority having more than 10 M.Phil Faculty members who got their degrees from Pakistan, Karachi University. The faculty of Edu has grown to become Pakistan’s leading fountain in academics, known for the quality of its teaching, its rising research status and service to province and at national level.
The Department has numerous class rooms with separate well equipped undergraduate and postgraduate research laboratories. In the field of information technology for facilitation of students recently a computer laboratory is established. The main objectives of the faculty is to produce a graduate and post graduate students with sound knowledge and problem-solving, efficient, environmentally sound skills and technologies.

4 years (8 semesters)
Intermediate (HSC) in arts group or an equivalent certificate from any recognized Institute/Board with at least 50 % marks and Maximum age limit of 21 years.
Degree will be awarded on the basis of at least 2.0 CGPA. However, a student has to maintain CGPA / GPA requirement to remain on the roll of the University in each semester as may be prescribed
